Solution:
 
Given that,
$v_{a}$ = 35m/s, t = 3s

Displacement of a body is,
$\Delta$ x = $v_{a}\times$ t
$\Delta$ x = 35$\times$ 3 = 105m

 

Question 2: The displacement of a body in 8s is 250m, calculate its average velocity.

Solution:
 
Given that,
$\Delta$ x = 250m, t = 8s

Displacement of a body is,
$\Delta$ x = $v_{a}\times$ t

$v_{a}$ = $\frac{\Delta x}{t}$ = 31.25m/s
